| Whew, this episode just flew by for me! Loved seeing more of Ch'en's perspective, as the recapture of the L.G.D building is on. The relationships she has with Hoshiguma and Swire seem quite complex, and I definitely want to see more. A good buildup episode, and something tells me this whole segment will end up feeling very dark and emotional. |
| The episode was just all about Ch'en here and I am down for it 👍 Now I wonder what is going to go happen when they recpature the L.G.D building cause I have a feeling there is just trouble waiting for her when she gets there |

| Just realized that Myth & Roid made the OP 3:16 Are these real languages? Chinese dialects maybe? The Japanese text on the bottom says "Lungmen slang". 9:10 He actually says "elder sister" in a humble language here. Idk why did they translate it as "Boss". But I guess this works, in Japanese "onee-san" can refer to older girls too. Ch'en and Talulah were childhood friends? The moment with the clothes made me wonder if there is any SoL stuff in Arknights. Good episode! |

| Swire is too cute. The episode itself was chill, but knowing that Talulah is around somewhere, gave the whole episode tension. |

| Nice to finally see Swire get animated. Phal sure paid a heavy price for getting that intel. Combat aside Swire sure managed to inject some amusing comedy into this ep. Its nice that we got to see what Chen and Hoshiguma do when off duty. Overall a pretty fun ep that through its focus on the LGD in their attempt to retake their city showed well not just how high the stakes were but also of the kind of personalities that exist in the division as well. Next ep i think is gonna be a pretty combat heavy one given the objective. |

Casters can use Arts to detonate ordnance and who fired it could've miscalculated. - 6* characters are very hard to kill. And Ch'en is a 6* in the game. - Ch'en has a talent in the game that gives her 10% chance to dodge an attack. |
| SWIRE MY BELOVED IS FINALLY HERE. Her "lovers' quarrels" with Ch'en are always a joy to witness. I can't recall right now if this was really how early we found out about Ch'en and Talulah being connected in some way in-game, but I am digging it regardless. Also I only now clocked that Ch'en is fighting with her basic sword instead of Chi Xiao, which I guess does make sense, it just didn't register for me until now. o7 for the piano. Truly the greatest sacrifice in this conflict so far. |

| After the intense start, a quieter episode was a good fit giving some room to character development. Even here you can see how the direction and the animation have improved since season 1. Enjoying it a lot so far. |
| "Life is precious." Great episode. Ch 5 is being run through quite smoothly, and the action here and there is good. Animation quality is also pretty high still. Good job so far, YP! Ch'en really took a shell to the face and was knocked out for a few, incredible. The Swire and Ch'en bickering is always great, but the ending scene definitely sold their true relationship. Hoshi and Ch'en's bond was also built up well here with nothing missed, awesome. Mostly a character building episode, which is definitely needed when you attempt to speedrun 3 lengthy chapters. Only small complaint is not enough Ch'en action, but there is a lot in season 1 and upcoming, so I'm content. Love the in-game reference for the players. The 1.8m lmd piano, skin references from Coral Coast, Vitafield, and Pioneer, and of course Siesta and HoSF. Tourist C, haha. Now, TIME TO TAKE BACK THE LGD BUILDING! Great ep overall. |

| @Embient 3:16 - Lungmen slang is Cantonese. Swire saying "puk gaai" or Chen saying "ding nei" are basically bad words in Cantonese. lol In the game, players now have options to switch their voices to Cantonese too. :) 9:10 - I think the translation here is accurate in this context because before joining the LGD, Hoshiguma was in some sort of gang and Phal was just one of her buddies/subordinates from back then. Phal called Hoshiguma "anego" which is an informal way of addressing an older women that they respect. Often used in fiction to address female delinquent leader or yakuza. You can consider this the equivalent of "aniki" for male. Won't answer the other question because you'll find out eventually if you keep watching. Also yes, there is slice of life in AK but it's very often out shinned by the amount of suffering and pain. :D |

| Each race in lore has their own advantages. If I recall, Lung (Eastern dragons), Draco (Western dragon) and Wyverns are pretty sturdy races overall. Chen is a Lung. Another example is Nearl from first season is a Kuranta (horse) and they are known to have high endurance. The Ursus (bears) are known to be very strong physically. |

| And this is when Ch'en realizes her old ideals of "Lungman is number one" is wrong and starts to care about others. We can thanks Misha for that, her death won't be a waste. And Amiya's decision inspired Ch'en that you should never abandon allies. (which as Ch'en mentioned she used to do) And yea, Hoshi is a powerhouse with her strength. You would imagine her to be similar to Saria's high base attack (strength), but Hoshi is pure Defense build... lol |
