Back again after 3 months, and we wasted not even a moment before jumping to the main thing… the task of reviving crewmates, with the nitric acid they’ve made from the bits of platinum reserves they’ve acquired thanks to Kohaku.

Though you know, the mind of that creep old man actually does work way more creepier than his looks. Literally ordered to drown those petrified people right under the ocean smh, and moreover even making a scene with one of those statues to sniff out the intruder among them. But liked how seriously Kohaku took the task to her heart, and eventually crushed Ryusui to pieces lmaooo.

Be it that way, Ryusui reached his rightful address, and then came his revival, for the SECOND time. Leaving aside how accurate Kohaku’s imitation of Ryusui was, that dude literally grasped the circumstances around in just a moment, and immediately learnt the very first task right now, is to revive Kaseki, so he might help in making drone, which will in turn help in faring against the petrification tool these people have.

Scuba diving in the stone world must have been one of a kind experience, but I fucking liked how Ryusui run his mind in that crunch situation underwater, and knowingly revived Taiju, so he might help in pulling Kaseki out of water… and that he did. People are assembling again!

Very neat Opening with the visuals, and that’s quite an artistic Ending. Loved them both. Good return already.
@Softhenic03 I also loved how Ryusui revived Taiju

I already had high expectations for the return of this season, but anyway, they managed to far exceed them. Poor Ryuusui, Kohaku didn't think twice before destroying him with everything he had in his arsenal, but in the end they revived him without problems along with Taiju later on, who, thanks to their brute strength, managed to get Kaseki out of the bottom. from sea. Finally, quite interesting is the explanation about the marks disappearing the 2nd time someone was "revived" due to oxidation having no part in the process, perhaps that will be important in the future. See you next week :)

for a science anime this1 was totally un-accurate
u cant simply pull rocks from the bottom of the sea, i mean u can lift them as long as u are touching ground but u cant swim up with them... and even more so if the rock is human size
the moment they said they wanted to get him out the water i was just curious how they would do that...

i have tried and it wasnt even that deep in my case, deeper would be even harder

So we get nitric acid made again in this season for the clutch play. OP and especially the ED are better than Part 1, which is a nice bonus.

What a way to start the next part of this season! Ideal teamwork of skilled friends knowing themselves without words. :)

Depetrifying someone after relatively short amount of time of being petrified looked nice. Glowing effect, laser-like sound, haha.

Putting this great episode aside, the opening and ending themes are fantastic. It's become a standard for Dr. Stone anime since the very first season, but wow. This time I think the opening and ending are exceptionally beautiful in terms of visuals and music. Even if the bar was set high by the previous OPs and EDs, those two I think can be put among the best opening and ending themes of all of them that have been released so far.

Finally time for me to get my fingers on Dr. Stone. I've been needing to catch up on this season, so I have hopes for this season like the reset of the franchise that came before it.

Picking up right from where we left off, we now have the formula for "near unlimited" revival fluid. Surely when they run out of platinum the fluid is gone too, and they can't keep mooching the metal off of the island kingdom undetected. Soo about the Ryusui escape.. I get that the people there don't know about the fluid, but I don't know how to feel about them getting away with every scrap of the rock.

But three cheers for the sailor who thinks he knows everything being dumbfounded by Senku's newest scheme. And photographic memory ftw. At least that's what I imagine the root of Soyuz' memory capacity is.

I was about to say if they brought the old man's statue up without his arm o_o that would have been awkward. But they got all the body parts they needed for him, that's the good thing. Along with the OG crew of brain + muscle.

I'm really hating those Treasure Island goons, they steal the Kingdom of Science's boat, all their stuff, and toss their stoned bodies into the ocean, not to mention their own stoned villagers. They're way worse than Hyouga and Homura who killed a bunch of their allies to the sulfuric acid gas. Maybe even worse than Tsukasa smashing countless statues thinking he's killing them, Tsukasa wasn't doing some dubious harem thing with the women, or whatever the goons are doing.

My only worry is Hyouga and Homura getting lose and joining those two top goon fighters, the guy and the woman with the petrification stone. I would love to see them fight each other though.

I had a feeling that Kohaku took it upon herself to destroy Ryusui's statue into neat pieces, making it easier to put back together. The fact that she even predicted what he was going to say after being revived just made me LOL hard XD

Ryusui's quick thinking never fails to amaze me. That silent conversation with Taiju, filled with mutual understanding, was pretty wholesome. 'We can communicate with our hearts.' It was really touching :)

Soyuz's extraordinary memory skills are also pretty awesome. As a language learner, I both admire them and am jealous of them at the same time, haha.

The only thing I didn't really enjoy this time was the song chosen for the OP. I prefer the ED this time. The illustrations in the ED were also gorgeous; it looked like it was all sand painting done against a light panel. The OP gave me hope that Senku and Kohaku would get closer, though! I hope they finally get together!

Quite a blast for the first episode of this season! Amazing! Watching Taiju being revived underwater makes me feel like choking. It was a good thing he was easy to adapt to his surroundings.

Boy! I almost screamed when they revived Ryuusui first! I was so excited! I love his character so much.

She got him back. If you understand the characters well enough, you'd know she did!

Still can't get over how they assemble the dismembered pieces of a petrified statue. What about fine pieces of stone that are too small to figure which part they belong to? Lol

New opening has lots of beautiful visual and the ed song is also good. Ryusui is here so does taiju but the one we need the most is the greatest craftsmen in the stone age, kaseki oji-san.

The opening and the ending are both quite sentimental, I wonder what's going to happen in this part of the anime.
Anyways, the opening also seems to spoil a lot of stuff. Are we finally getting Kohaku's confession to Senku, or at least the 2 growing closer together?

Other than that, this episode was pretty much the usual Dr. Stone episode, although it was cool to see their plans to bring back Ryusui, but the whole underwater segment felt a bit way to unrealistic, but I'll let that slide, since that's what makes anime fun.
