VioletAlex's Poem
In a world of flavours, sweet and unique,
There's a special boba that makes my heart speak,
It's not just a drink, it's a sip of delight,
A love story brewed with every bite.
In the heart of the city, where streetlights gleam,
I found a boba that's more than a dream,
Special-Tea Boba, you stole my affection,
A love so strong, it defies all directions.
Your pearls, like stars, in a dark, silky sea,
Each one a promise of what could be,
Tangled in tapioca, my heart finds its way,
In your sweet embrace, I want to forever stay.
The aroma of tea, a fragrant desire,
Ignites a passion that sets my soul on fire,
With every tender touch of your flavour so bold,
In this love, Special-Tea Boba, I'm sold.
So let's savour this moment, you and I,
Underneath the moonlit, starry sky,
In each bubble and sip, our love's story unfurls,
Special-Tea Boba, you're my world.
Pr1nce_Thcseus's Story
Martin had a soft smile on his face, flittering around the counter of the Boba shop. To be truthful, if he'd been told that he'd end up with a job that let him live comfortably, not to mention was easy to work as to where it hardly felt like a job at all, he would've called them a liar. Because it was such a twist of fate, such a turn of his luck that he'd been so startled.
At first, he figured it would just be another average job he'd work for a few months before he ended up fired and having to re-do his job search, but it turned out that he had much more experience then thought, and had been able to get a much better position. It was fun.
Talking to customers, hearing their stories.. Everyone had this sort of unspoken rule to be kind to the staff, so Martin was of the lucky few that didn't have to deal with the entitled. It was just a nice, out of the way little place for those who needed a breather.
The doorbell ringed, and his head turned to face them, a smile gracing his lips unconsciously.
"Hey!"
It was Jon. Jon had ended up discovering the establishment by pure accident. It was raining heavily that day, and so he'd stumbled inside for a roof over his head.
Admittedly, Jon wasn't the nicest at first, and Martin, being his insecure doormat self, had taken any insults to heart.
..And he also kind of found Jon attractive.
R-Regardless, over time they did end up smoothing it over, giving it another try, because well, Jon had just been promoted for a role nearly everyone there felt he hadn't deserved, and it'd been a lot of pressure. To put it bluntly, Jon was projecting.
Martin merely nodded however, and soon they became good friends, with this being a place Jon could relax in, to let down his walls and not have to keep up an air of professionalism. Without having to worry about being judged for acting as himself.
"Your regular order?"
He gave a swift yet near-jerky nod, making his bone-deep exhaustion clear. At least he wasn't consuming unhealthy amounts of coffee.
Jon, when visiting in the morning, had often gotten popping Boba, if only so he could bring it with him at work and not being judged by the more obvious ones in a drink. Not that it wasn't well known, but Jon gave off a very standoffish demeanor, and thus his co-workers often wouldn't ask just to ask. ..Usually. It was refreshing anyway- according to him at least.
When Jon would enter after his shift was over however, he would stick to the drinks instead. Egg pudding Boba usually during lunch, because he knew he otherwise wouldn't eat a thing (and it warmed Martin, to think that Jon would prefer his company all the time). And to-go would usually be some variant of a mini Boba, if only because he was aware he'd probably end up forgetting about it if he set it down.
It was nice. Really nice, actually. He didn't have to worry about paying for his mother's bills at the care home because the pay was great, he didn't have to face screaming in his face for half of the day, and he'd actually made a friend.
..And he had a crush. The only thing that could get better was if Jon had shared it, although he knew that was asking for too much. Martin was completely content, right where he was. He would like to see Jon more, but it felt awkward and he felt it might've been pushing it. So he stayed where he was.

What makes the Boba Tea Special?
Was it awarded some kind of medal?
Or is it the cup used as it's vessel?
Suited for everyone, guys and girls.
Just look at it as the cup swirls,
At those beautiful, dark pearls.
Sitting here, I enjoy the wonderful aroma
Of my one and only, Special-Tea Boba
LOwOry's Poem
With you by my side i feel bubbly with joy
The sweetest of flavors i could ever enjoy:
Invigorating, you fill my heart with frenzy
And in days of sorrow, you're the calm of the sea.
You're soothing after a tough day of work
And although cool, you fill my chest with warmth.
Those bubbles of thoughts you keep hidden inside
Are filled with mysteries meant for me to find.
I'll never know the whole story of how you came to be
This flavourful drink that sits before me...
Yet i try to learn, listening to the foam
Forming at the surface of your sea full of pearls.
Mermaids enchant with their magnificent chords,
But your charm is stronger even with no words.
If you'd be a melody, I'd ask for encore
For the more i drink, i want to drink more...
But if you fill the cup up to the brim
It'll pour out when adding the cream
And the special tea would be incomplete,
Just like you and me if we ever split...
Title: Special-Tea Boba
sweet_psycho's Short Story
Max and Timmy have been friends since high school and are neighbors, though they didn’t go to the same college but still liked to hang out sometimes. One day, Timmy suddenly said, “Let’s go to the mall; it has been ages since I last went there.”
Max felt the same and replied, “Sure, let's go.”
So, both friends went to the mall without any second thoughts. While roaming the mall for a few hours, they were both dehydrated and wanted to get a drink. “I want a drink,” said Max. Timmy replied, “Let's go to the court to see what we can have.”
The 7th floor is the food court. Max had an excellent milkshake the last time they were here and was looking for that same stall. But nope, it's nowhere to be seen.
Timmy – I don’t think that stall is here anymore
Max – yeah, I was looking forward to that drink.
Timmy – let's get something else. Look, there are a few new shops selling something new called boba.
Max – ehhh? Boba? First time I heard about that! Do you think it's going to be good?
Timmy - we won't know unless we try it, right?
Max – yeah, sure.
At the boba stall, they both wondered for a while and later on, at the cashier's suggestion, they ordered the special item – TEA BOBA…
Max – Are these little balls boba?
Timmy – sure looks like it. And the straws seem wide enough to suck it up along with the drinks… let's try it.
They both tasted it and pondered for a while, thinking what to say about the drink.
Max – okay, the drink is delicious, but the boba is weird. They are stiff but soft at the same time. I don’t know how to feel about this.
Timmy – really? I liked it. It's good. This might be my next favorite drink from now.
The conversation about boba ended there for them that day. But the boba bomb was set in motion. A delivery truck arrived three days later to drop some things off for Timmy. But he was not home, and Max volunteered to keep it for him. When the delivery man asked where to set it down, Max was confused a bit. Wondering how big it is, as he asks where to set it down. Then he saw…… it's one of those big boxes [2 feet x 2 feet x 2 feet], and it was heavy. After the delivery man left, Max called and told Timmy that his big box was there.
Later that evening, when Timmy arrived to collect his box, Max asked, “So what is it?”
Timmy replied, “Boba,” with a big smile.
Max – are you saying that the big box is full of boba?
Timmy – [with a wide grin on his face] YES…
Max – you ordered a lifetime's worth of boba? You are hooked!!
Timmy – lifetime? My calculations say it won't last six months. :D
Max was stunned to see his friend in that state of addiction. And pondered that Timmy might not eat anything besides boba if that keeps up.
Since that day, every time Timmy and Max met, there was a boba drink in Timmy's hand. Within two weeks, Timmy looked like he had gained considerable weight. Not seeing the effect, Max went to Timmy's mom to make her stop her son. But what's this… She was also enjoying boba along with Timmy's older sister and brother… Their house was a den of boba addicts.
Two and half months after the first big box of boba arrived, another delivery of 2 boxes worth of boba was delivered. After a day of the delivery, a guy asked who ordered boba on a commercial scale in this small town. He asked if they were running any business from the residential area.
Understanding what was happening, the guy said, “Sir, ma’am, I would like to request you to cut down on boba consumption as consuming too much will lead to health complications.”
Timmy replied, “Dude, mind your own business,” and ate more boba. That was the last time Max saw Timmy, as Max had to go away for a while. After three months, when Max returned, he was shocked as he saw Timmy and his family had gained much weight and were having boba tea or drinks related to boba all the time and averaging 7-8 drinks a day.
And talking with Timmy, he understood that Timmy has somewhat of a boba fetish now.
Max – we need to talk.
Timmy – sure about what?
Max – boba!
Timmy – Oh! YES YES. Do you know how many types of boba are out there? FIVE… wanna try some? Let's go to my place. I have all of them…
This was the moment Max knew he F-ed up…
Kiranatos's Poem + Art
In a bustling corner, where the city lights meet,
There's a Bobarista named Boba Fett, so unique.
In the heart of the town, his cafe does stand,
With a Special-Tea Boba in his skilled hand.
From Tatooine to Endor, they come from afar,
For a taste of Boba Fett's special tea star.
In his cafe, the Force is strong and true,
Where tapioca and tea blend in a cosmic brew. Accompanying Art

CukieMunster's Short Story
Today is the most exciting day ever. I finally get to go see all the bubbles! I can’t wait to jump, splash and play! I’ve been awake since 5 am waiting for my mom to come wake me up. It’s almost time!
“Dear, it’s time to wake up-”, my mom says as she opens my bedroom door.
“Ready!” I reply before she can even finish her sentence.
“Wow, you’re up bright and early”, she smiles as she pats my head.
Backpack at the ready, I rush out of my room and head to the kitchen.
“Hey, no running!” she yells, but I’m way too fast and am already downstairs.
I grab my favorite chocolate cereal, pour it in a bowl, add milk and start chomping. I am devouring this cereal like a real boss.
“Eat slower honey you’re gonna choke”, my mother says as she finally walks into the kitchen.
“I’m done with breakfast! Can we go now?” I ask my mom.
She laughs and tells me to get in the car, she will be right there after she makes herself a coffee. I run to the car as fast as possible, which is like, super fast because I am the fastest person in my 3rd grade class. I can picture it already. Once I get to my mom’s work it’ll be incredible. First I’ll grab a bubble beam, and start sniping all the bubble monsters. Pa-wow, shoosh, pew pew pew. Then after I’m finished destroying all the enemies I’ll head to the bubble zone. A mega pit filled with giant bubbles that suffocate you if you get too close. I’ll avoid them with my ninja skills. Woosh.
“Ready?” my mom asks as she gets into the car.
“Hell yeah!” I shout.
My mom always talks about the bubbles. She says there are all sorts of different kinds at her work. Minis, crystals, poppers and tapyoki. I know tapyokis, those are the octopus balls my mom forces me to eat saying it’s a traditional Japanese dish. No way I’m eating those. Those evil octopus bubbles shall be the first to witness my power as I destroy them!
“I’m glad you’ll finally be able to see me working. One day you’ll be the one responsible for the shop”, my mom tells me as she drives.
“No way! That’s so cool!” I tell her absolutely shocked. I’ll be in charge of something so important?
“Of course, you know, this shop has been passed down for-”.
My first day on the job and I’m already taking over? I’ll be the head captain in charge of all the troops? Well of course that makes sense, I’m always one of the best in P.E., why didn’t I think of this before?
“Here we are.” My mother says as she parks the car.
First things first I need my bubble beam to defend myself, a big one with more damage. A blue one preferably. As soon as my mom finishes unlocking the door it will be a free-for-all battle, we shall fight man to bubble until only one of us is left stand-.
“What’s wrong honey?” My mom asks.
“But, where are all the monsters?” I ask my mom.
“What do you mean monsters sweetie?”
“The bubble monsters! The bubble beams! The bubble pit of imminent death and doom!”
“Bubble monsters..?”
“Yes! The evil tapyokis!”
My mom stares at me for a bit. Oh no, the bubble monsters must be controlling her, I need to help her right away.
Then she starts laughing at me.
“What’s so funny? This is a life or death situation!” I tell my mom.
She walks away into the back.
“Mom! Where are you going?” I yell after her.
“Wait right there, I’ll be out in a bit”, she tells me from the back.
What could she be making back there? Maybe she finally understood and is making my bubble beam? Hell yeah!
“Here you go, one Tapioca Bubble Tea.” She tells me as she hands be a brown cup with black balls at the bottom.
“What is this?” I ask her confused.
“This is what your mom does. We call this “bubble tea”. It’s a drink with different kinds of bubbles or pearls that people enjoy drinking!” She tells me.
…
“Honey? Are you okay? She asks.
…
I take a sip from the bubble tea.
…
I feel my face heat up.
“Well then, let’s get to bubble making! There is no time like the present.” I declare.
“Yes sir.” My mom says as she smiles and puts an arm around my shoulder as we walk into the kitchen.
LonlyMatt's Poem
Colored are the marbles at the bottom of the sea,
And as you can see, the sea's made of tea.
Tea made of milk and filled with ice...
It's nice, given the coffee shop price.
A Rich brew leaves a sweet scent.
And it's worth every cent spent.
To the nose, a bless.
The taste buds confess.
Delicate hands lift the drink,
And let it sink.
I let the straw dip,
Take the first sip
And enjoy the hazy afternoon.

**Ode to Boba**
Oh, boba, sweet delight,
Your chewy pearls, a wondrous sight.
Your milk so rich, your tea so pure,
Your flavors vast, beyond compare.
Boba, boba, we sing your praise,
Your slurping sound, a symphony of days.
From black to green to milk tea white,
You fill our hearts with sheer delight.
