| You can't help but love it, Id neer even imaged we'd get a season 2. My main concern is they seemed to tone down the feel into complete stupidity by intersecting scenes with animal ears et al. Im pretty sure in season 1 this did not happen and it was still a fine comedy but now its just feeling a little childish. Eps 7 just felt like a joke, your getting into story and character then all of a sudden you flash to scene with silly face and animal ears. Its kind of annoying given how awesome 1st season was to now getting some pantomime crap |

I mean what did you expect, the manga is incredibly silly and stupid and this a very faithful anime adaptation of the original source material and believe me the manga gets even stupider and more convoluted as it goes on so if anything don't blame the anime for being faithful blame the manga for its over the top silliness and yet we still haven't even reached the arcs when the angel michael and porno dianno enter the scene, and let me tell you oooh boy the silliness start, ramps up and never stops. so if you were waiting for a serious tone i suggest you watch something else because you will not find it here especially on the later chapters tho it does oddly get philosophical and religious on some other chapters.  |

| Yeah I get that its silly, I just finished eps 9 and it was peak content with the mini dark scniders and the one lucien. But that blended with the show and was funny. Its when it goes full scene change and doggo. I dont know, feels a little off. Its just my own opinion anyway, Id of preferred they keep it out as it kinda dilutes my show vibe when watching. |

| That's the nature of bastard, expect a lot of silly Schneider dog ear scenes because it's the comic relief moments of the anime. |
