Yeah I also really like it. I was so disappointed by Moriarity the Patriot S2 and In/Spectre seemed too dull for its premise. This show, though, improves in both categories. Solid premise, great characters, interesting setting, solid animation, and the VAs are killing it. Easy 8/10 atm

love it but i would love more if they stick to one story it should be maybe 2 ep max not 3 or more, remember spectre first season xd

Yeah but In/Spectre’s Steel Lady arc was more than double this vampire arc’s length, and far more contrived. So long as they stick to like 2-3 episodes per story, I think they’ll avoid that trap lol

Yeah I agree, idk what I expected, I just figured it to be just an average anime for the season. One of the ones I’d put on the “I’d recommend watChing these anime this season. They are pretty solid”, but nothing to write home about. Like Yumemiru Danshi, or Sweet Reincarnation, or am I the strongest?. Like anime worth watching around a high 6 low 7 but nothing to write home about. But this show is just seems to get more intriguing the longer I watch. First show in awhile where I’ve been on the edge of my seat only to go DAMNIT when they cut off abruptly at the cliffhanger at the end of every episode. definitely a solid 8/10 so far. Top 5 this szn for sure (not including continuing series obv)

Their attention to music is fantastic, animation feels extremely fluid and does everything it really shops, the fight choreography was awesome this episode with our mcs jester like approach to fighting. Filled to the brim with personality in a landscape where personality is genuinely hard to come by. Highly recommend this to literally anyone

For me, the biggest difference between this and In/spectre is the male mc and the dynamic between the main characters. Our boy here is the most entertaining character whereas in/spectre the guy is as plain as cardboard

Certainly deserves to become more popular. The quality has been extremely consistent, the protagonists have a ridiculously great dynamic, the plot is quite well written and the pacing is just fine.

Solid 8/10.

Yumemiru Danshi isn’t a 6 even if you watch with closed eyes. 4 is still being generous with that crap.
