Ignoring the people hating on it because it’s cgi, which isn’t a valid complaint. What I want to know is where does it fit in the timeline?

Also. We got to see a lot more of what this new entry could be about. The most obvious new thing is rock people, so it looks like it’s leaning into more fantasy stuff, it’ll be interesting to see what sort of world this one is. If it’s set in the future, or on another planet or in another dimension altogether.

Every FLCL has a different sort of vibe, and this one seems like it’s going to be more different than usual.

I don't usually complain about CGI, but it was amazing in the original (2000)!

I agree. It wasn’t used that often though.
