MAL synopsis only talks about the world and not about kanata.
i guess it's because the world changed in 2222 and we start anime with kanata's story in 2242

disney+ always has a different synopsis from what we see on MAL or other sites

i guess they try to fit the synopsis in their own style of synopsis. if you notice almost all shows have very small synopsis and then they try to expand for each episode

um, you did not scroll down. but just as a refresher, the synopsis on MAL is from the game prior to the anime, not the anime itself.
