At this point it's not even a spoiler anymore, the controversial NTR ending has defined the series.

Just like Darth Vader being Luke's father is no longer a spoiler, neither is the fact that Emilia got NTRed.

I prefer Maou chose just 1 girl over the harem route so I am for him choosing the oppai chic.  Not ntr at all.  

Harem routes are power fantasies that negate all respectful aspects of actual romance.

how is it NTR if none of them are in a relationship already? It's a bad ending to me but definitely not NTR at all

I had no clue about this.

I am way too invested in the story now to drop it but I don't want to see NTR in any capacity.

What is NTR ending? Is there any in manga or smt? I only know LN ending where Maou ended up with Chiho and that's what I want...

One of the worst endings so far at the point that i think the author were just trolling the fans after milking their money. The author really deserved all the hates and threat from the fans.

my brother in christ that is not an Ntr ending, Chiho was always gonna win.

yea, we all knew that she would win but everyone started getting salty on how the author tried to push moments with emi.

NTR (netorare) = cheating. For a person to cheat someone, they need to be in a relationship with them. Emi and Maou were never in any relationship. Yes, they had some moments, but thats it. Maou even had some moments with Suzuno (Bell), that doesnt mean they are in a relation or she got NTRd by Maou. Chiho always had a chance of winning, because she confessed to him at the beginning of the series and always tried to help him in every way she could.
