I was trying to figure out how to put it into words, but you did it perfectly, thank you.

I didn’t read the written material, but I picked up on all the signals that she was giving indicating that she actually liked him.

She is not dumb at all, just the opposite.

It seemed like maybe at first she really did forget her glasses one time, but when Komura-kun actually starting talking her and helping her, which didn’t seem to be happening before then, she realized something.

The real reason she keeps “forgetting her glasses” is because she wants Komura-kun to continue interacting with her, because she actually likes him, and that seemed like the only way to get him to feel comfortable enough to keep talking to her.

Even in this recent episode, she was surprised when she realized it wasn’t the one she liked Komura-kun helping her and apologized for being so casual with Azuma.

It was obviously that she wanted it to be Komura-kun, even Azuma realized this, and it seems the only one that didn’t realize that she actually likes him, is Komura-nun, it just isn’t getting past his own insecurities and lack of confidence.

I am really enjoying this show and I like the visual artistry a lot.

Man, Komura is frustrating to watch, even for a kid. Most mcs in this format of romance series are better. The shy but awkward mc in the Dangers in my Heart is the template to follow imo. It seems like he won’t improve much in the next episode either. At least the art and Mie are good I guess, but I feel this may not be for me…
