Any chance for a dub?

Before I get crucified, yes, I've always watched Love Live! dubbed.. and no, I'm not apologizing. I mean it's the only Idol series I know of that gets dubbed. That is until now since this isn't listed as getting one currently. I even reached out to Morgan Berry who I've actually met a couple of times and she hadn't heard anything from the higher ups about it either. I mean even season 2 of Love Live! Superstar hadn't been dubbed yet, lol. Maybe Crunchyroll just doesn't have as much interest in it? What are the chances this may get a backlog dub in the future? I'm watching either way because I started watching subbed anime as well last year.

Don't be ashamed to watch dub, I watch them regularly too. I think the chance of this getting dub is pretty high but not so soon. Just look back on every previous Love Live series, usually the dub is out a year or two later.

That tracks because it took a year for S1 of both Nijigasaki and Superstar to get dubbed. S2 of Nijigasaki was dubbed during it's season though which is why I thought S2 of Superstar would so the same thing since the dub for the first season dropped right before it aired. A year later and it still hasn't happened. At this point I'll have to rewatch season one before I watch the second, lol

Pretty sure all love live series get dubs. Aquors originally had a dub and the series is very relevant in japan

To think that you reached out Yohane's English VA. I guess you enjoyed the dub that much. I'm sure it'll get one at some point. If not now, then later.

Well, looks like there won't be an English dub for this one, based on what the upcoming Blu-ray release is saying on its description. So for those who are waiting the dub, sorry for the disappointment.
