- Ageha added to the opening! - Taking on the “overprotective older sister” role as I expected, an interesting first(?) appearance of this dynamic in Precure. - I love how they didn’t really know how to use the palette at first. It’s a very minor thing but I’ve always been slightly confused by how the cures automatically knew how to use their new attack devices, and this reaction was the PERFECT callback to those moments, lol. - This frame…. Enough said? (Embedding isn’t working for whatever reason) https://ibb.co/R0pP0gs - A brand new dual finishing attack, I like the combo! (Although Tsubasa begs to differ, lol). - Cure Happy in the ending! - Ooh, are we finally getting some more Mashiro character development next week? I hope so! |

As always, Princess Ellee doing her thing, warms my heart. Ageha is doing a great work, helping in Princess Ellee development. |

Tsubasa and Ageha were so adorable this episode!!! This season's strong point has definitely been the characters so far! |

Getting some really heavy ship vibes from Ageha and Tsubasa lol. They were really cute today! They’ve come along way from their arguments at the beginning of the season. It’s cool how she’s embraced the big sister role. Even though she can be overbearing at times, it’s out of genuine concern. Being compared to someone’s parents is a big honor. |

Ngl the new attack doesn't feel like a new duo attack but more like Butterfly's new attack with a bit of Wing in it. Overall the episode was really sweet. I love how cute Ellee is when she's trying to communicate. Also that part in which she had her hairs down *kawatan*!! ♡ Soo Mashiron's dream is to become an illustrator?? Guess she has some more of my attention now! :D |

Magical boy anime. Everything revolves around him and his love interest. And my lesbian ships screen time is reduced to almost zero ofc not surprised over that one A Boring episode IMO, overall focuses on graffiti and romance. We already have 2 million heterosexual romances this season but why not cram it in here as well Toei!! You are pissing me off. I want magical lesbians! Not this,,,, 1/10 |

What I like is that when Ellee gave the neww ite to Wing and Butterfly they didn't know how to use it. Now to wait a 4 attack with all members |

Ageha is the best, just when you think Ellee couldn't be any cuter she always outdoes herself. I hope they keep using Updraft Shining because I love the way Mashiro says "Prism White". |

Just because there's a boy and it ruins your yuri (because it's too obvious that you look at precure at that point) let me tell you that you are very wrong and this franchise is not for you. There’s no hint of romance, and plus Tsubasa is 12, while Ageha is 18. You’re the only one thinking that their friendship is romantic, which is concerning. Also how about you watch a yuri anime instead of a kids show, because there’s little romance in precure. Stop complaining that there is a boy in precure. |

technically, Tsubasa is a bird from another world who can assume a human form, much like other main characters in other precure shows, so him becoming a precure is not as groundbreaking as it may seem. Toei did introduce the idea of male precures as far back as Hugtto. i think Toei did a pretty good job with Tsubasa's back story, and the series has been a fun ride so far. the new attack is amazing, i love the phoenix transformation! |

My only concern about it is that the new weapon and the whole spell is Butterfly only. Wing's just subjected to her and everything revolves around her in order for the attack to happen. I get that Butterfly is much more appealing to the toys target, so she naturally gets more spotlight in order to sell the plastic thing, but couldn't Wing say something too? Or, I don't know… help her press something ahah. |

Here you are a "grown" woman going berserk because I don't like the same cartoon character as you do. You shouldn't take it so personally just because some people have a different taste than you This is Precure. It is a kids show. I was in Japan and stayed in Ikebukuro while the 20th Anniversary Exhibition was on and I saw with my own eyes that Precure's real main audience is little girls. Toei won't do anything to appeal to us fans in the West because we don't exist for their bottom line, so as far as the anime is concerned, they might do some yuri bait to appeal to otaku (who have money to spend on collector's merch), but actual canon yuri is out of the question because this isn't and will never be a yuri anime. Also, Tsubasa hasn't taken over the show nor is fighting on his own and stopping the girls from being heroes too, he is just a member of the team and thus he gets his focus episodes from time to time as any other cure would. One of the main reasons he exists is because Toei's market research found out that there were little boys in Japan watching Precure and they wanted to give them a character that they could see themselves in, as this show exists for Japanese kids and not for us. Of course I am nobody to tell you to drop this Precure, but if you dislike the show so much, I really don't understand why you keep on watching and then complain about it not being what it never set out to be. Also, I think it is quite concerning that you see Tsubasa's and Ageha's relationship as romance and not like something close to a sibling relationship. It is a 12 year-old and a 18 year-old. I don't think that people are really shipping that. We just want to see them as an older sister and younger brother who care a lot about each other despite their differences. |

We wouldn't even have this conversation if YOU haven't started to address me, merely because I don't like your husbando No, experience in anime is actually relevant. Especially when people with almost zero experience in anime or Yuri trying to lecture me about my favorite genre or how to define a Yuri Most anime is aimed at the Japanese audience and not at the West. Does that mean we can't have negative opinions about this media? And you are wrong again. The focus of this show has changed and the majority of the screen time is now devoted to him. Also, a lot of other things I dislike about him. He designs, his voice. Even his irritating ugly haircut pisses me off, it looks ridiculous!! That boy's haircut looks like a dog has taken a shit on his head!! It's one of the worst designs I have ever seen But you are telling me I can't watch this anime because my criticism against your favorite cartoons angers you Lol Sorry, but I don't really care about your feelings And I probably going bitch and whine about the dog poop boy in future episodes as well. Just because there's a boy and it ruins your yuri (because it's too obvious that you look at precure at that point) let me tell you that you are very wrong and this franchise is not for you. Precure IS FOR KIDS, IT IS ITS TARGET, TOEI IS WORTH THE YURI BECAUSE IT HAS NEVER PUT IT OR WILL EVER PUT IT IN AN ANIME FOR KIDS! IMO he hasn't earned shit he is just annoying as hell and I can stand him!! He is in the way for my lesbian ship!! I prefer cute girls in my anime not irritating males that steal all the spotlight. I want heroines, not heroes Oh my with your whole 16 days of watch time, you are the Yuri expert here, right? LOL Toei has several confirmed lesbians in their magical girl shows. There is even a lesbian kiss in one of their precure manga. Also, this started with strong Yuri vibes between Sora and Mashiro but sadly it seems to be nothing more than bait 1. Criticize only for the number of comments I have (which doesn't make sense) 2. You say that Tsubasa is in the middle of your yuri...really? Tsubasa right now is a 12-year-old brat who just wants to fulfill his dream and that's it! he doesn't give a damn about romance! Are you seriously mad at him just for that? If that's not pathetic of you then I don't know what is. 3. He was talking about the anime, not the manga. The manga very little or there are very few of these is canonical, the mangakas love yuri so.... 4. Washio made it clear that the word Hero in this case is not theirs or his, it is generalized in both, in Japanese, Heroina translates to Heroin while Hero would be Hīrō. Sora wants to be a hero, not a heroine, he generalizes it regardless of the gender of the word. Here EVERYONE both they and he are heroes, not heroines and heroes. Seriously, if you are going to complain, do it with arguments, not with meaningless nonsense. PS: Tsubasa? Husband? HAHAHAHAHAHA wait...do you seriously think I'm defending Tsubasa just for that? what a good joke! I love Tsubasa but I don't consider him as a husband XD I comment on your watch days not comments in the forum. You have very little experience in anime and don't know what you are talking about Yes, males are always in the way of Yuri. Toei is obsessed with heterosexual romance and often crams it in their magical girl show if a male is present No Im not wrong at all. From the moment he arrived, the focus has been more and more on him. Japan is in general a very sexist country and girls are not often allowed to be heroes if a male i present in anime. And you haven't even watched this episode or any episode beyond the 9e so what do you know? LOL Do it with arguments? Im using arguments. You are so insecure that you can't handle any opinions that differ from yours and dismiss them as not real arguments Ofc he is your husbando. You and the other gatekeepers, on the other hand, seem to be extremely irritated and need to call me out because I dare have a different opinion!! And telling me I can't criticize this anime. If you can't handle that please use the ignore function. No one forces you to read my posts after all =) I will be answering paragraph by paragraph: 1. Trying to discredit other people's opinion on Tsubasa by deciding that he must be the husbando of anybody who defends him and insisting on that idea is of course a way of insulting those who like the character, as you use the concept to make fun of us. It's not that you are telling us that we can't like him, it is that your are trying to portray us as having an irrational love for the character that invalidates our opinion when the only irrational thing is your dislike for a fictional bird in a kids' show. 2. I wouldn't have really replied if this was only about Tsubasa. I was mostly ticked off by how you answered to the person who had replied to you before and thought it would be fun to put a target on my back too to see what kind of ad hominem and other crazyness I could get. The "gatekeeper" comment was specially interesting, considering I explicitly said I am nobody to tell you to drop this anime. The "husbando" part was kinda expected by now, but let me tell you that I am a straight guy and if anything I would have a waifu. 3. You cannot act like a person's anime list is a good measurement of their experience in anime. Mine is heavily incomplete because it doesn't include anything I watched before creating my account or during my early days in the site when I used it mostly to keep track of the last chapter I had read for some manga. Love Live is my main interest when it comes to anime and barely any of it is in my list. I am sure I am not the only one who hasn't put everything in it out of pure lazyness. Also, you might be very experienced in yuri, but if you think that Precure is yuri simply because there is more than one girl and they are friends with each other, you are wrong. Tsubasa doesn't ruin this yuri because it is not a yuri to begin with. I was at Toei's Precure 20th Anniversary Exhibition in Tokyo and there was a ton of stuff about friendship, girl power and challenging gender stereotypes, but not a single word about yuri. 4. That anime isn't targeted at the West of course doesn't mean we can't have an opinion on it or criticize it, but going after a kids' show for not being what it is not (a yuri) and instead trying to appeal to the target audience and giving more kids a character they can see themselves in is ridiculous. I am sure that there are many boys in Japan who are happy about Tsubasa because I was once a little boy who loved shows like Precure and would have been thrilled to have a boy in it. At the end of the day, what is relevant at the end of the day is how Japanese kids feel about Tsubasa because that is what Toei cares about, as we are nothing but guests in a space that belongs to those kids. 5. Tsubasa did get a lot of focus when introduced as he hadn't been part of the cast from the beginning as the rest, but after episode 11 we have had the following episodes: 12: Focus on Sky. 13: Shoes episode. Tsubasa doesn't even transform. 14: Sky focused Skyland episode. 15: Skyland episode. Tsubasa gets knocked out as soon as the main battle starts. 16: Elletaro episode. No real focus on anyone. 17: Sora and Mashiro episode. 18: Ageha episode. Cure Butterfly introduction. 19: Ageha and Tsubasa episode. 20: Mashiro episode. 21: Tsubasa episode (What a sin!) 22: Mostly Sky focused. Out of the last 11 episodes, only two have had some real focus on Tsubasa. I think that you are the one who is wrong about his screen time and just feel that Tsubasa is everywhere because you can't see past your hate towards him. 6. You are fighting a straw man theee. I explicitly said that I am nobody to tell you to drop this Precure, which means that I am in no way in a position in which I can tell you what you should or shouldn't watch. I am just geniunely curious about why you keep on torturing yourself with something that you seem to hate so much that you need to constantly whine about it. |

I am just geniunely curious about why you keep on torturing yourself with something that you seem to hate so much that you need to constantly whine about it. Also maybe you should read the person's posts before you choose to defend her. She become totally hysterical and started to scream at me and was extremely rude. If you are rude and aggressive towards me Im NOT going to treat you with silk gloves. And to go berserk only because I have a different taste or don't like your favorite character/anime is typical irrational behavior from a gatekeeper I have no problem that you or others like that character. I actually respect your opinions and If you wanna praise him go ahead, but if you chose to address me and try to forbid me to have my opinions. I going to stand my ground and speak back And ofc I can. If you are inexperience your understanding of how something works is lesser than a person with a broader experience You can clearly see that I'm right. Here you are with very little experience in Yuri probably thinking that Yuri has to be a lesbian romance. When I with more experience than you, Understand that Yuri also includes when they portray a strong relationship between females that don't need to be romantical or sexual in nature. The females in precure often have a strong spiritual relationship with each other and thefore It can be considered as a Yuri Yuri (Japanese: 百合, lit. "lily"), also known by the wasei-eigo construction girls' love (ガールズラブ, gāruzu rabu), is a genre of Japanese media focusing on intimate relationships between female characters. While lesbianism is a commonly associated theme, the genre is also inclusive of works depicting emotional and spiritual relationships between women that are not necessarily romantic or sexual in nature I don't really care about that or little boys in Japan. I'm a selfish old bastard and only care about my enjoyment. Also, there are so many anime where the males are in focus. I fall in love with precure because it was different. But sadly girls couldn't have this show for themself That is exactly what you are saying Lol Dont try to sugarcoat it. You are angry as hell because I don't like your favorite anime and want my horrible criticism to end and that I watch something else. It's not going to happen!! Torture? I enjoy to bitch moan and complaining about stuff that irritates me =P And why don't you follow your own advice here? If my comments are so horrible and make you so upset. Why are you torturing yourself by reading them? You should use the ignore function |

It looks like Ageha has become Tsubasa's mama's boy! He did get humiliated by his parents but he did like spending time with her and it makes Elle happy. The new attack was a masterpiece! Tsubasa becoming a phoenix? HELL YEAH!!! |
