Soyuz was actually introduced in the anime as early as Episode 7 of season 1 and appeared in s2 episode 8 and may have been in the background some other time  The anime's official introduction in s3 ep 6 might've felt jaring to some since the viewers weren't particulary invited to speculate on him and his early appearances (appart of a small percentage of anime onlies finding his design next to everybody else in the kingdom of science a little different). While in the manga, the handleing of the 'actual' introduction was more organic since when 40(39) villagers where named (excluding the elders) in chapter 18 in a double page spread his 'name plate' was blank so the sub-plot around him was already iniciated for the reader to anticipate a resolution at some point  [font="\"Proxima Nova Regular\", \"Helvetica Neue\", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif"] [/font] [font="\"Proxima Nova Regular\", \"Helvetica Neue\", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif"]And about his character itself, it will be elaborated on later in the show but it's nothing really out of ordiary in Dr.Stone Sci-Fi world at this point[/font] |
