Question for Light Novel readers. How far do you think this anime will go?

the usual LN to anime conversion IS 3-5 Volumes per 12 episodes. normally it only needs 3-4 depending on how dialogue heavy the LN is. for example, i've scanned/speed read a fanslation of 'Archenemy Hero' first chapter of LN Volume1 and the WHOLE chapter is Hero and Demon Lord's conversation in her castle when they first met. that entire LN CHAPTER is covered in episode 1 with further 'things going on' in ep1 after that. i've read some folks stating that ENTIRE anime is merely Vol1 and the first 4 chapters of Vol2 of the LN. so sometimes they need even fewer LN Volumes to make an anime.

:) remember, anime OP and EP are NOT normally made by the 'main team' that makes the episodic content. heck, they're usually not even DIRECTED by the Head Director for the whole project. so 'spoilers' and 'missing characters' added into EP/OP is NOT unusual. take what's in an OP/EP with a grain of salt and keep your eyes on the 'main team' work inside the episodes. :)

Is this your first time watching a light novel adaptation? 2-3 volumes per 12-13 episodes is a general standard.

No, I know the rule of thumb is 3-4 volumes per cour. I was just wondering how far you guys expect it to go.

@Paladin23 I didn't notice any obvious differences. At most it would be the scene where Yuuya saved Kaede from the soccer ball was downplayed a bit. In the manga, and I believe it was this way in the novel too, they're sitting in the bleachers and she's falling to the ground. He catches her, does a flip, and kicks the ball into the goal. Also, when he was going to the store to get clothes where he met Miu he saves a foreign girl from getting hit by a car and speaks fluently with her in her native language due to his language cheat he got. It was all just minor stuff like that changed.

@Paladin23 you're welcome. This series is a fun one to read if you don't mind reading a story where you just shut your brain off and accept the ridiculous nature of things going on. In later volumes it gets really ridiculous for example if you don't mind spoilers

I'm a fan of death march to the parallel world rhapsody and in Another World with my smartphone where both mc are either a God or God like so I think I can dig it 👍

@Paladin23 Then you'll feel right at home reading this one. If you've watched or read "Fruit of Evolution" then you can kind of guess what to expect out of this series. While Yuuya isn't as broken of a character as Seiichi is I think Miku basically used that series as a rough draft for this one. Both have a loser fat kid turning into an uber chad with self-esteem issues.

I will say that if you haven't watched the Fruit of Evolution anime it's probably a pass. As someone who has read the entire web novel the adaptation is just sad.

I really enjoyed the first season of fruit of evolution the second season not so much

@Paladin23 I dropped it after 2 or so episodes in Season 2. They cut half of the class he ends up teaching out of the show and I just didn't feel like dealing with it.

@superdubes that why I asked the original question studios play with source and can almost change the story completely I understand the A-1 pictures change the anime gate around so much the light novel author wouldn't agree to more seasons. Reed production cut out a lot of touya from in Another World with my smartphone background like he was a troublemaker and afraid of marriage because of a cousin disastrous marriage
