What's did the Steelblood Front do wrong?

Can anyone explain to me why the Steelblood Front are shamed by most of the characters? I mean the only crimes they're doing is punishing and killing Highlanders.

Considering that one of them tries to sexually assault women, including Inglis and plans to kill innocent people? Why should the Steelblood stop what they are doing?

If the highlanders stop giving hieral menaces to the people of earth, they will die from monster attacks.
The steelblood front is pissing the highlanders off, so yeah, they are not appreciated.

Everyone in Karelia, the kingdom Inglis lives in, require Highlanders technology such as hieral menaces, artefacts and FlyGears to fend off the magicite beasts. Hence, they worship the Highlanders, willing to give up villages including their villagers to highlands for their technology.

The FlyGears are provided by Throne faction (Cyrene and Theodore faction), which Altar faction opposed.

Hence, everyone worships the Highlanders as gods and does not want to piss them off. Which leads everyone to dislike the Steelbloods.

They cut half of second volume because it's the least impactful for the rest of the story, where volume 3 needed to not be cut.

Just to make it clear if it wasn’t clear already - they are “shamed” because they are proverbially biting the hand that feeds them essentially even though that hand is a ugly one that deserves to be bitten. One side thinks they need the hand (general populous) and the other thinks they can do without it (steel blood front).
