I don't usually create posts, but I feel that I can't be the only one to be scratching their head to why this Is called master the blade.

She/he only has a normal sword at the beginning, it breaks. And all she does now is uses her first. I know she has that ice blade. But I feel like she is missing an actual fucking sword.

Yeah, like I know that you have Aether and want to fight powerful foes, but use a damn sword.

I originally thought it just meant that in this life she/he was going to focus on becoming strong (like becoming a blade of strength).

After looking at the native title "Eiyuu-ou, Bu wo Kiwameru Tame Tenseisu: Soshite, Sekai Saikyou no Minarai Kishi♀" it can be translated to "The King of Heroes Reincarnates to Master the Martial Arts, and become the World's Strongest Apprentice Knight♀~"

Why the hell the English release put anything in about "mastering the blade" is beyond me.

Look the Japanese original title. It makes more sense.

Don't even try it... Kids nowadays watch anime without fluently speaking Japanese... The fandom becomes weaker and weaker...

In the Japanese site HJ Bunko and within the LN Community, we called it ‘Hero-King’ for short.

Inglis does use swords later in the LN.
She does not use swords initially because she keeps breaking them because of how overpowered she is.
In the LN,

I said the same thing, she really was born to master MMA cause all she ever used was her hands and feet and hell mostly just kicked them in the air.

If the translation is bad they need to fix it. dafaq

This is some next level weeb shit dude. I’m glad the community is expanding. Sure it’s not all good, but I remember not being able to tell anyone I watched anime when I was younger because only the weird loser kids did that. Now Target sells manga. TARGET. Crazy

It is a common thing for many anime/manga/LN titles, When an English publisher licenses it, They change the title name which makes more sense in English rather than directly translating it. Now this causes problems when the story isn't as same as the title, such as in this case.

Anyways, when translated from Japanese, this is what we get in English.

Japanese:
英雄王、武を極めるため転生す ~そして、世界最強の見習い騎士♀~
How you read it:
Eiyū-ō, bu o kiwameru tame tensei su ~ soshite, sekai saikyō no minarai kishi ♀~
What it means:
The King of Heroes Reincarnates to Master Martial Arts ~And the World's Strongest Trainee Knight♀~

When I use "kids", I'm talking about their intellectual level, because that way I can assume that that someday they will be clever.

But yes, hard to take anyone seriously when they can't even recognize a joke. And in that case, you would be lucky to be a kid, because you can hope that you will understand jokes when you are older.

In the LN,
who cares. It's horribly written. The anime is horribly directed.

Hmm I get what you mean, but I think "master the blade", is encompassing another meaning in this show. My opininon is, it means to: just get strong, in any field that seems interesting and useful to him/her. Getting the most fun out of achieving and refining his/her skills.
