| Going to use this to talk about my thoughts on the series thus far seeing as I have one volume left. I really do quite enjoy it, but in all honesty I feel like it's just hard to follow. So many new characters get introduced with really weird names and they almost all look the same if they are some sort of robot or dude wearing robot armor. I love the main cast of Juzo, Mary, and Tetsuro, and even some of the minor cast like Edmund and Lefty are cool when they appear. I kind of wish they played more into the theme of family that they went into a bit a few chapters ago with the Arahabaki kids, because it seems like for the most part they appear out of nowhere. Am I missing something? I feel like a lot of characters are maybe either mentioned or introduced once and then appear 30 chapters later and I'm supposed to remember who they are. Right now Juzo is on the loose after his fight with Io and Suiso. He is probably under the control of Suiso's Harmony and is berserk ... So they got Number 7 to come in and fight him. Now that there is a goal that the villains have that the heroes need to stop, it feels like the story is a lot clearer -- there were goals before but now that we know what Beruhren is going to do with the Parallel Sub-Brain it feels like we finally have an end goal to meet for the main characters. I am excited to see how they get Juzo back and how this will all end!!  |
