| I don't think it will even be the future of G-Witch, since the war/political drama part already started. Not in the iyashikei/CGDCT style at least, not that there will not be other cute girls protagonist, that's a possibility since it seems it's doing good commercialy |

| If I recall correctly, there are only 3 Gundam manga/LN that has a female protagonist. Majority of them are male. A UC LN written in 1980s. A Wing side story. A UC manga with girl burnt alive. I might be wrong though, might need clarification. The biggest Gundam manga that has not been adapted yet is Crossbone. The 3 pilots of Crossbone Gundam are all male. In the sequel Skull Heart, all male too. In the following sequel Steel 7, there is a female pilot, the rest are male. I am still reading Crossbone Ghost. Another Gundam LN that is currently having its adaptation is Hathaway Flash, with the protagonist being Hathaway Noa, son of Bright Noa. I have not read the novel but I doubt Gigi will pilot of mobile suit. Cute girls are not important for a Gundam war story. The only mecha anime that requires cute girls are Macross and Muv-Luv. |

It is Gundam but more Dragonball-style, such as Gundam going super-mode, similar to super saiyan. However, it still contains the philosophical messages of Gundam. G-Witch is the short form of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury. The Gundam community tends to throw these types of terminologies around because names can be long, such as G-Reco for Reconguista-In-G. |
