Anos said that if something drastic is changed in the past, the god of time will just fix it so the present is not affected too much, but I remember that Anos killed the god of time in season one (when misha and sasha were going to the past to fuse with themselves and Ivis fused with god of time to defeat Anos).
Am I not understanding something or the story has some discrepancy?

About that question it will be revealed in the later episodes so you can wait till then, aslo I thought someone would ask this question because the same question came to myself while reading the Light novel.

But we’ll have to wait ‘cause the anime will be delayed indefinitely from episode 7.

Because the one Anos killed wasn't the *God* of Time, but another kind from the divine race called "Keepers" ("Guardian God" in the anime). Unlike Gods that represent Order and maintain them, Keepers exist solely to protect said Order from being disturbed. Also, there exists multiple of them,
, so destroying one won't mean anything.

Know any websites that have better translations for the light novel?

When ever time travel is involved its best to just roll with it and accept the story. If you focus to much on the science or known truths we humans can calculate then you lose faith. in this anime we have faith!
