| Is the girl on the front panel Shimada's old girlfriend that married, and had a family? The scene with Shimada walking on the shogi steps is a great panel. At least Smith brought supplies, lol! |

| Yes, I think that was his ex-girlfriend from his hometown. I just love Shimada so much. This chapter made me ship him with Akari even more, even though there hasn’t been a single moment in many chapters of them interacting that would justify this. I’m just grasping at straws here… |
