He was married to the singer LiSA, reports were their marriage was not the best (lisa taking some digs at their marriage life), was then found out that he had a side chick while lisa was on tour (said girl knew he was married to lisa as well). chaos ensued because of his adultery (as he cheated on one of japans biggest artists) and he got cut from a lot of his roles. Allegedly attempted suicide but no real confirmation

New VA definitely doesn’t carry the role as well. Truly disappointing as I felt like previous VA made the character. The charisma and confidence just got replaced by monotone, dry and lifeless delivery.

That's false given the fact that he has already retook some of his previous roles in sequels.
He was voicing Poplin in Die Neue These last season and is doing the voice of the character he voiced in the Nier Automata game in the new and ongoing anime adaptation.

I was like what do you mean he has a different voice actor. Then i checked and i was like whaat xD i don’t know why i remembered he had same voice in season 1 too, maybe i’m mixing this with different anime..😅😅 But his voice now sounds way better now 😍😍 he had good one in season 1 too! But i like this better.
