I was looking up the actors playing the various characters in the show and I noticed that the woman playing Carol, Sally Amaki, is playing her in both the Japanese and English dub.

Is this the first time this has happened or does anyone know of any other time this has happened?

Mari Iijima voiced Minmay on the original Japanese version of Macross and an obscure english dub that only released in Singapore.
I think on the first season of Di Gi Charat Miyuki Sawashiro also played on both dubs.

According to Wiki Miyuki did the dub for her character in the first six episodes of an OVA series of Di Gi and that was the first time that had happened and she did the movie as well.

I'm pretty sure, that if VA would be fluent in both English and Japanese, it would he go-to option every time. Pitty, that not many can speak both.

iirc I read/heard somewhere the ones that can speak both fluently are much more expensive or something. i could be talking out of my ass but im like 90 percent certain I heard that somewhere

Was checking out Romantic Killer on Netflix, the main character kinda reminded me of this one.

Baka & Test has some romance elements into it but it does jokes like this but it’s kinda of more well executed in my opinion. But I do enjoy this anime.
