| I actually really loved the first episode, and I can't wait for more. It'll be interesting to see a character like Anne grow. She's clearly very naive and sheltered. She has yet to see the realities of the injustice towards fairies. Sugar Apple Fairy Tale is actually the only thing I've seen/read (I've read the Alto Yukimura manga) that shows a character who participates in owning slaves and realizes the error of their ways. I can completely understand why people would hate her though. I did like the way the manga panned out from what I remember, and I can't wait to see more of this. I wish it were all out at once so that I could analyze everything. The art is also beautiful. I'm in love with this art-style. Both Anne and Shall are stunning looking, and I might even turn some of the art into an Anilist layout. (I even have the perfect Yona pfp to go with it.) |
