| Actually, it means "Devil". Albeit its usually used as a slang, because portuguêse people don't like to say "Diábo", as its said to bring bad fortune to those who say it out loud. "Demon" would actually be "Demónio" . I think you called it Demon cause you probably trying to associate with Speed-Demon, which is not a bad way of thinking it. But in our culture, that direct translation won't work right. - And in regards to it being the Name of the Anime, its probably due the fact the fastest F1 cars 🏎 in the world used to be owned by Ferrary. Which means they would be Red, and usually Red its attribute to fast speeds, furious, unmatched, godly, out of this world, explosive, devil, etc or even Speed Demon has meaning. By using "Capeta", you also avoid religious issues and avoid a Saint Seiya situation where it had to be changed to Knights of Zodiac in some regions, to avoid clashing with irl religion beliefs.
