not a whole lot happened

the idiot cult members nearly crashed the entire lighthouse trying to kill marc. a LOT of people died because of it, inferiors and superiors

you could see people mourning the lives of their friends and family members, regardless of their "status". and after the lighthouse is saved they get rid of the badges altogether it looks like

bishop douche is blinded by marc and thrown over the edge. but he's saved by somebody in a mecha suit. he wanted marc to "work with him" on saving humanity. it honestly sounded like a load of bullshit to me. i mean, i'm sure there was some truth to it, but only in the sense that bishop douche could use it to cement his power over EVERYONE and then eventually kill off marc somehow

marc pretty much has no supporters on the lighthouse anymore. all of the non cult/military folk who loved him have turned on him after this disaster. and marc realizes it, so he jumps over the edge, trying to kill himself i guess. but he's also saved by a mecha suit, who uses its thrusters to cushion marc's crash landing to earth

lastly, we also learn that the 3 decrees are to prevent "feelings" and "emotions", because supposedly those are what the extremezoans are attracted to when they attack humans (sounds like the movie "Equilibrium")

this is a really fantastic story. the "lore" is pretty exceptional imo. curious how this finishes with just one episode left? does it even finish, or is there a whole nother season coming?

Marc is a badass no matter what form he's in!

Asshole Charles still wanted Marc's help even though he was the one responsible for the Lighthouse destruction. If he would've just stayed in his lane and let things play out the way his father wanted it to, none of this would have ever happened. AND he gloated about it to the hunters!! Now he's missing an eye, an arm, and is probably half crazy now.

Season 2 can't get here fast enough!!
