DB Super hero was as mid as dragon ball super. Absolutely 0 sakuga in an action anime movie (oof) not to mention it’s supposed to be gohan’s time to shine and he’s in the movie for all of 10 min. And he’s in his new form for all of 10 frames so there’s really no payoff for sitting through the whole movie. Not to mention Cell Max exists lmao ☠️. Gohans new form only getting “10 frames” in the movie show character development. Previously when Gohan was the strongest (vs Cell and Vs Buu) he got arrogant and didn’t try to finish them off right away as he should’ve. Now he did. Super hero also introduced Gammas who’re 100x more interesting than their counterparts in Broly (Cheelai and Lemo). One of them solely existing for fan service. Super hero also introduced moral dilemmas which we haven’t really seen in all of dragon ball. It being the “hero” Super hero also brought sacrifice... actual sacrifice and not the bs, “death doesn’t matter because we can use the dragon balls” So what exactly did Dbs broly do better? The new characters weren’t better... The antagonist was just a mindless child like the one in super hero (so definitely not better) The plot wasn’t better So what does that leave us with? Only the animation. So yea, if you’re under 6 I can understand why you say “Dbs broly is 10x better in any retrospective” |
