| Apparently this manga got cancelled, but after reading these two volumes, the author wrapped it nicely, so it doesn't feel cut in the middle or anything. Quite the opposite, finishing it I could swear this was meant to be a short sci-fi/body horror story. I guess I could see a potential in this becoming longer series, especially since we didn't get to see many interactions between Kai and Meera... Shame. Still, I had good time reading it, artstyle was great. I especially appreciated the drawings of crystalised bodies/skeletons - these visions were both extremely creepy and beautiful at the same time. Could be a little more complex, but for what it is - it's still pretty decent. 7/10 |
