Came to this after the OVA, the 2 episode OVA seems like a prologue after I started reading this, Marth's sister turns out to be a major factor behind his growth whereas in the OVA due to her very short appearance, the character didn't look very important, the death of Cornelius was just his death in the OVA but here, (manga) a sacrifice, watching his father dieing in front of him and couldn't able to help or save him, the guilt and the regret of not being strong enough justified his growth at the end of the chapter. Good start!
