How to continue after the anime (manga, side stories etc etc)[Possible spoiler depending on what you consider spoiler]
| I know I should wait until the anime is over but I can't be bothered waiting and will probably forget. This anime will only cover the first couple of chapters of the game, from watching the anime it seems noobie friendly so I will list things to expand the story and such for anime only (and even players) Manga  Main recommendation for anime onlys: Stories of Infected: Blacksteel (has characters in this season in it shown in pvs). Also quite a simple but effective story that does good worldbuilding and character building Other manga  Main Doktor recommendation: Rhodes Island's Records of Originium - Rhine Lab (This one pretty fucked, characters wont appear in anime but I mean you can still read it anime only)  Less depressing: Rhodes Kitchen -TIDBITS- (Slice of life with actual recipes, I NEED MORE TRANSLATIONS)  Very unfinished: A1 Operations Preparation Detachment (Not much out but it seems like a longer one) In game Main story The anime will most likely end at chapter 3 so after it you should be able to just pick up from chapter 4. There are a total of 10 chapters out in global Side stories: This is split into Side Stories (Normal), Intermezzi (plot important), and Vignettes (Small side stories with no need for gameplay). Recommendations. Read all Intermezzi (they're plot important) You should start with Darknights Memoir, then A Walk in the Dust, and finally Under Tides. Don't worry you don't really need to worry yourself about finishing these first the importance to the plot is a while away. Side Stories: I recommend Code of Brawl and Maria Nearl  Code of brawl has character from the anime (also a fun read)  Maria Nearl is kinda the same but mainly recommend because it leads to a very good trilogy. Vignettes I recommend Children of Ursus and A Light Spark in Darkness No real reason just really enjoyed these ones Plot important Vignettes: Operational Intelligence: The Anonymous Ones' War, and all of Vigilo. Animations: Everyone here should watch Holy Knight Light Cool fun animation with characters we know. |
