| I feel like this OVA really suffers from its very short episode count. It feels like it wants to be a big sprawling epic, but there's just no real room for it. It is fun trying to connect the dots with the original ABD though. The Holy Warrior who travels with a Ferrario that they've been waiting for for the past 700 years suggests Show Zama has become a legend in Byston Well. Could that mean Shion is Show reborn? Shion's personality feels quite different from Show's. For one, he fits the Tomino mc archetype of the headstrong, moody teenager with a chip on his shoulder and a general attitude problem much better than Show ever did, though. |
