I both love and hated this episode, and look I get it. Yu-yu is the protag, and he'll more likely win the entire thing. Just didn't like how they had to make Urara lose in the first round like that. Soon as I saw the brackets last week, knew she was losing sadly. She's a great character, and I do hope she has her moment later.

Also lmao, the speed run of the fights at the end, hilarious.

Some people gonna be mad about urara losing in the first round but personally the fact that she played as well as she did against Yu who has MC armor was great. remember she literally just picked up vanguard a few weeks ago.

I'm quite sad when I'm realized that instead of a new character for USA champion, we might get a re-use character like Danji, which went to USA just to be a champion there. Don't get me wrong, Danji is a very great character and a boyfriend material, I just want to see a strong player from other nationality than Japan.

Top three players will get to fight an exhibition match? Since this is a single elimination tournament I kinda expect top two or top four, so there's gonna be an extra match that will decide a third place? Which is Tohya vs. Michiru, and it look like Tohya is gonna win so that he can fight Danji again, but there might not even be an extra match if Michiru's health condition, whatever it is, get worsen, then Tohya will be in an exhibition match by default.

I'm shock at how 3 other matches just show results, not gameplay, Megumi is an important character and we don't even see how she lose? And what about her ambition of reaching Danji? I kinda hope she might make it to the top three so that she can fight with Danji and clear up her waving mind. And while I personally prefer Tohya to win, Tohya already a calmed/tamed/matured character that doesn't need to get develop anymore.

It was a nice fight, I enjoyed seeing how the tide went between urara and yuyu but finally, the win goes to yu-yu, sad that the other fights were shown in glimpses. So, finally, the semifinals are up. Excited about it.

I give this episode 5/10.

bruh they purposely made Urara lost. The hell is this lol. Literally a protag that looks like a smurf beats someone who actually has potential.
