| a leaker said it will have 2 cours including the one airing now. I personally don't see more since aniplex rarely lets shows go past 2 cours unless it is franchise levels of popularity. It is largely to promote square enix's game. lycoris is no different but I imagine aniplex will give that more seasons since it is right now way more successful than this. Tsunako is also busy with Date A Live, King's Proposal, and Neptunia. Date A Live is one of the most popular/successful ln animes to exist and Neptunia is huge. So Engage kiss this is more of a side project for her. |
| When was the last time an original anime by Aniplex ever got a sequel? I don’t think they really plan on making sequels for those type of shows, it’s always a conclusive ending most of the time, just look at Vivy, Tokyo 24th ward, and Darling in the Franxx. |

| I started thinking about something similar as well tbh, to some extent I can't really believe that kanna just gets killed off again after a few episodes as the final boss. Since we can assume that asmodeus just possesses her, it could go like: sister gets saved, asmodeus can flee, city eventually gets destroyed in the process, little timeskip, more demon hunters appeared, kanna adds more spice to the love triangle and shu's company is now one of the few ones being able hunt down and beat asmodeus while said one still causing calamities around the world. |

| Would love to see engage kiss and/or LycoReco getting a 2nd season or a 2 cour, but with what I mostly see on anime adaptations these days it's more or less unlikely to happen but I would appreciate it though if they decided to make a Manga or light novel as a continuation for the story. Also with vivy ending on only having a single season, it was pretty much understandable since they ended it in a very good way and just like what the producers said, it'll pretty much ruin the anime if they continued it. but again with the main topic, we just need to wait and hope on this getting another part... |
