is that enough runtime guys? Also any source reader out here, what's your opinion; should I wait for the film or read it and then watch the adaptation?
Slightly tempted to experience it first time as a novel cause my motivation to go back to it after the watching the movie may plummet.

I think the runtime might just barely be cutting it... I just hope the staff are able to showcase all their monologues and narrating through visual cues. i haven't read too many LNs but this one volume has a bunch of details from their perspective, possibily more than most books I'm used to

And if you have some sort of interest in reading the novel, i suggest reading it beforehand in case the runtime isn't enough to adapt everything without rushing. I also just finished reading it, and i think it'll make for an interesting experience when i watch it

As a LN Reader,I would highly suggest reading the Light Novel so you have a picture in your mind about what happens when. And also this LN is a true masterpiece.

I really hope the animators did not cut out many scenes.

So I have finished read the light novel(Thank to Seven Seas for the translation). The story was a nice but the end was a bit confusing. its Interesting to know how 360 pages long novel will adapt to a movie.

It’s confusing because the ending was not enough.

Id expect long chapter for ending given what happened after x years inside the tunnel. Rather than being confusing, id say the ending was cut short. The ending for anzu and tono is okay. But the ending for his father, friends were too quick.

I can’t tell if it is enough. But id suggest reading the LN first. Because the LN is more engaging, intense that what i see on the trailer.
