| Well, technically, what's a little interesting to think about is that Farma most likely died due to the lightning strike incident as others have said, but there is no reason and nothing saying he couldn't have been reincarnated into another body and new life afterward too, the same as our protagonist, right? Whether in the same isekai fantasy world that he was originally from, our real world/Earth that the protagonist is from, or some other world or dimension entirely. After all, reincarnation as a concept is a very real held belief in a number of Eastern religions such as the Dharmic faiths of Hinduism and Buddhism which have greatly influenced spirituality in East Asia, including Japan. And within the fictional context of this anime, obviously it goes without saying that reincarnation is very much an actual phenomenon. So nothing to stop anyone from believing the real/original Farma wasn't reincarnated all the same exactly in that moment after his death and subsequent invasion/re-habitation of his body. But because it isn't his story, we will just likely never get to truly see it or find out about it. |
| I just assumed that he took over the doctor's body. Sort of like the movie "Big" but now he's a modern day doctor with the memories of said doctor. Maybe now OG Farma can take a vacation while learning how to "adult". So he'd be the average person. But that's just an assumption, apparently the author wrote a bunch of side stories about what happens to the original Farma but my japanese comprehension ain't the best, so I can't really tell you what happens in them. |
