I can see what you're talking about. For me, the first ep was top notch but the 2 after it were quite mid but now, after watching the fourth one, it felt like it was finally picking up and gaining momentum. |

Its like Strike the Blood but atleast Strike the Blood are showing the girls nips. If Engage Kiss decided to do that, maybe Ill give this anime a +2 score. |

| At first I expected a battle action with bit of fanservice just like DAL cause of the designs, partly it's still that but I didn't see the twist in ep3 coming. What definitely makes the show the most interesting is the rivarly between the two main girls and their developing relationship towards the MC, the romance in this has potential. The overal plot with the demons and shu's revenge on the other side are quite poorly handled, he is also way too edgy and unlikable. What's a bit weird so far are the sudden switches from serious to funny moments, it happens like several times every episode and the humor in general tends to be strange as well, watching kisara being a waifu and her yandere/jealousy tendencies are the most fun. |
