| Looks like this episode took some time away from the battlegrounds but still retains its elements of drama. It seems the empress in this season really has high expectations for her country and followers. Also really interesting how they protrayed Rou Ai's character in this arc. He feels very human with all the complicated affairs. |

| The last character I expected to get any character development was the Queen Dowager's husband, but Kingdom delivered once in that regard. It's too bad he is being used unknowingly as a puppet against the Queen Dowager. I think it's likely he will be killed off before the end of this season, possibly in attempt to protect his wife and fix things. Xin's perseverance is paying off. He is only one promotion away from a general now and he totally deserved it after this battle. |

| I can't help but feel sorry for Rou Ai. Just a simple timid guy who had sudden twist of fate which threw him into spiral from which he has no chance of escaping. |

| Xin made Brigadier, congratulations to the guy. One more rank towards his dream, you almost there my guy. Zheng's mother is a messed up human both emotionally and spiritually, she is a walking corpse. As for her husband, I think he loves her so much, probably the reason he wanted the "king" thing to stop. Too bad those guys ain't letting up in trying to manipulate him. |

| Not really fond of this inner struggle and the focus on the "King". It's not interesting at all and just feels like a waste of time while the cermony is soon to arrive. Best part of the episode was surely Ou Hon and Shin being promoted too Bridage. Even Kyou Kai is a battalion commander so, they're with 8 thousand people. |

| Although I like that this episode showed how and why Lao Ai got to where he is right now, I don't like the part where he's like "the queen is in pain" or some shit. Man, I don't fucking care about that bitch! They're in a warring era, have been for centuries, there's countless people who have suffered more than her. Stop justifying her actions. What I'm afraid of is that this maybe is a set up for future justification for her surviving the ass whopping that is sure to come to their so called country. She has to go man. Soon. Sooner than Lu Buwei honestly. |

| i dunno if i'm feeling sorry for lu-hai or anything, but he's surely being played by daigou, and his so called "ministers" lol next episodes is already the crowning ceremony? really? didn't thought it will come so early. can't wait to see what lu-buwey is planning. |
