For me, it's UNO. I almost never played it growing up, but really took to it probably 2-3 years ago with my kid. It can get really competitive.

Also really like Stratego, but may have to wait until he's a bit older to revisit that one. It's a bit complicated for a seven year old and he gets frustrated, though he has legitimately beaten me before.

Despite us having a ton of card games & board games, my children preferred online games most of the time. So I ended up playing Wizard101, Webkinz and Roblox with them so we could game together.

When I could get them offline to play some physical games, it was usually ones that I had created for them (like a card game that has some similarities to Crazy 8's or Uno, or a fantasy tabletop RPG that is simpler & more flexible than D&D). I don't know why they didn't get into the many board games we have, but I enjoyed playing whatever they were interested in.

My kids aren't old enough for games yet, unless you count things like "peek-a-boo", general running around, or things like "[oldest] is in the [couch] crack!"

I look forward when they're old enough for other games though.

We do games together every Sunday evening. I'm particularly fond of Uno, too. I choose it every time I'm given the option.

Some other ones I like are "Here, Kitty, Kitty!", a game about collecting cats into your yard and house and "Here to Slay", a game my brother bought for my daughter for her birthday this year.
