I'm putting up the internet rules of Janken (which I've used in a few other forums).
1) We need a minimum of 2^x power of competitors (2, 4, 8, 16, etc.).
2) A bracket, much like they use professional sports will be created.
3) Competitors will be randomly paired up.
4) The bracket will then be posted so everyone can see who they are competing against.
How to Janken online.
1) 2) The competition is a one-time and out
2) Each competitor will PM me three moves. Three are used because ties to happen. If more moves are needed I will PM you both.
3) In cases of of not receiving moves before the required due date, the winner will be whoeve sent me their moves. IOW, you forfeited, other guy won.
3) Whoever wins the hand will move on to the next level.
4) Again, the bracketing will be put up.
Possible changes (we'll see how it goes). Instead of one-time and out I would consider upping the number of moves and having it a best of winner. Wins = 1 point, Ties = .5 point, Loss = 0 points. I'll leave that up the competitors if they want this rule change. |
