| That reference to the mangaka of Hunter x Hunter was pretty funny, especially considering he's drawing HxH again lol. I don't really know what to make of this show. The premise is alright, but the execution is mediocre at best. the pacing was so inconsistent, you'd have some things dragging on for episodes, and others getting finished within one episode. I don't know much abou the voice-acting since I don't watch very many Chinese anime, but it was hard to get used to (in comparison, The Daily Life of the Immortal King was quite easy to keep up with and the VA work was a lot better, though I'm sure it had a better budget). As for the animation, it was pretty bad, especially the fight scenes; it looked very much like a Powerpoint presentation. Finally, and this is my biggest problem with this show, they put way too much time into the backgrounds and things that weren't characters, so the characters being there feels very weird. 3/10 |

| Loved the HxH reference. I guess it's no accident that Demon Fortress immediately brings Heaven's Arena to mind. It goes off right as it was really getting good. |
