At first I thought it was good, but the whole season is about rescuing slaves and it gets boring so that Ark gets a new feature every minute but it also has its good moments. I gave it 7 and if the second season comes I will watch.

I wanted something more ferocious out of Arc. Him going into evil mode or something. The final battle between Ifrit and Hydra kinda felt low budget(you can see how Ifrit's flamy hair was static and it didn't feel good at all). I dont have a problem with season 2, just want them to take the work seriously if they make one.

This show was decent imo. And had pretty fcking good animation for such a generic isekai. It was a fun show but I'll probably forget all about it in like a month or so because of generic and predictable it was. But I had fun watching it. A 7/10 for me.

We need to stop calling every Isekai generic, this show is far from it.

1. Actual good MC. Not that self-insert Kirito clone shit.

2. Story was more than just "I need to get OP".

3. They actually expanded on the world, with introductions to several kingdoms something Isekai's rarely do.

4. MC doesn't have a harem of women. There's 1 who might have feelings for him but he didn't make every woman he came into contact with fall in love with him.

Hmm. I have to agree. I guess calling this show generic isn't really correct.

it was great to see how even though arc is really op in term of raw power. he lacks experience which stops him from automatically becoming the strongest being in the universe.

I'm glad there wasn't any attempt to make some edgy super Saiyan like mode or shield hero rip off whatever you wanna call this evil mode, it just doesn't fit his character, and I felt pretty hyped during that battle.

I guess my only problem with this anime would be certain interactions like with that beast man, it felt a bit forced and out of place for the situation they were in.

But I liked the show overall, I wish I knew some more anime like this one.

Disappointment honestly, I had quite a bit of hope for this show and at the end I understood that the show didn't know if it wanted to be serious or not. I the MC was taking things seriously or just having fun. Wasted potentia is the kindest thing I can call this show.

To me Overlord and Goblin Slayer were better. Saying all that, but I did finish all of it and if unfortunately a 2nd season does come out, I will watch it.

It was fun, the comedy mostly hit and Arc is such a good mc. Some of the animation/art was below average, but I think cgi was on point. If they do make a s2 then they should polish the animation.

I've seen alot of comments saying this is just your average isekai and I don't disagree.

But that's what made it so fun.
I'm writing this the day I finished watching. I started watching yesterday and it was a fun and simple watch. And I hope to see this get more seasons.

Off to the manga I go xD
