So Season 2 Episode 1 is the direct sequel to Season 1 Episode 17. The first season covers roughly 4 volumes when this season covers up through the first half of volume 9. The manga is at volume 27 and has had a ton of development that the anime didn’t have the luxury of. I mean the anime didn’t introduce my favorite character yet and the main antagonist group hasn’t appeared in the anime let along been mentioned. Overall the manga is more developed and has a ton more going on as the arcs only get better and better. Definitely check out the manga if you liked the anime. |
