This was much much better and improved upon the last movie, which felt went back to similar story of the earlier films which were always 40 minutes longer than needed.

Mainly liked the reverse-isekai-ish setting that felt mysterious and had me keep thinking, the different art direction and action scenes were creative that reminds me of the 4th movie which had cool sakugas displays and overall found the ending twist pretty neat and worked well.

Only drawback for me is that heroine's character who felt has oddly different design than others and felt bland than other heroines on the past films imo.

Man that ending was so frickin sad. I came here to have a good time and now I'm left sad. Didn't expect to be so invested in some random, barely-known shin-chan movie. Even though it's a kids movie, it's far deeper than I'd have expected. 8/10. I'm gonna watch the new shin chan movie which is airing in a few weeks

The end credit scene of shin-chan dancing with tsubaki was really cute, a bittersweet ending nonetheless
