While watching this, I'm noticing a big shift in Violet's Character. It's obvious that she has come along since the main series in regards to social skills but certain core elements of her awkwardness have fallen away a little. I'm more playing devils advocate than expressing my opinions but what was everybody's opinion on the change in this movie and how they framed it?

I also thought it was too good to be true that they couldn't resist ramming two bathing scenes into this movie. Anime business as usual.

Idk about awkward..she always came more off as blunt.
The movie was solid. Perfect representation of the core of the series.

Yeah, I think she was great in this movie too. She was more understanding but blunt at the same time. I liked the dynamic between her and the other girl, it was really sweet in my opinion. Violet to me is still one of the best female MC’s of all time.
The right mindset when watching an anime is hoping that it will break your top 10

This movie had such good character development for Violet. I loved her interactions with other characters. Solid stuff.

She was a lot more mature in this movie!
There were signs that she is still confused and learning about life, but she's no longer that kid trapped in an adults body that the first season showed us. Witch makes sense because a lot happened in those first 13 episodes.
It was also very gratifying seeing her help someone that also had unfinished business left in their childhood.

Nice fanservice here, I liked it.

Violet has gotten tall.  She's great.  But, I most like seeing her fight and kill.
