If u do really want a scale of how good it is...
Then i'll give it 7 at max, normal people would give it 5 for sure. I think the overall rating on the list will be around 6.5 it's below average

It has a decent start but then it continues like a loop. Give it a try but I'm just saying even if you like it I don't think it will last long. It's still decent though.

Okay I have read the manga till the extent of what has already been released and I can say it is one of the better isekai that tries to have some direction. However my gripe about this show is the main mc is one man show. There are no interesting or recurring side characters except for his tamed monsters. It gets repeated after while and mc has no motive for why he does what he does, basically your typical cardboard cut out. But I still like the character design of the mc enough to say the anime version butchered it. You cant even call it the same character anymore. He is never supposed to have such menacing look at least according to the manga. I did not bother to read the ln. Not sure if it is even translated enough.

It will greatly depend on the animation

The manga has a goofy atmosphere

The anime seems to be too "serious" esthetically
I rate the manga 7,5/10

for me 1/10 skipped the introduction and right into the section where he already assembled his main crew. This anime has so far skipped out all the world building which for me has taken away what made the manga appealing to me.

The manga has a more relaxing and funny vibe (which I love), but it never failed to get serious when it had to be. The anime has an overall serious vibe, but failed to address and develop some major events from the manga.

I gave the manga a 9, but I'll let you know beforehand that my scoring is usually higher than the average score and is highly influenced by my level of enjoyment. I also didn't read the light novel.

As for the anime, I actually expected something worse. From what I've seen so far (till episode 7) I gave it a 7 mostly because I love the manga, but I'm willing to lower the score because unfortunately the execution differs a lot from the manga.

What bothered me the most in the anime were the flow of the events and the lack of emotions in the characters (specially Yuuji).
Aside from the fact that the anime modified some events, I feel that the it is rushed, a lot of scenes from the manga were skipped or squeezed into flashbacks in the anime when they coul've simply followed the other in the manga, this made all of Yuuji's encounters and adventures lack in development and seem really dull (one of the examples is the inetraction between Yuuji and the Dryad).
Now about the lack of emotions, even though Yuuji does have a blank face most of the time, I really missed his "seriously?" face in the anime. Not only that, due to the rushed pace of the anime, we missed most of the emotions and feelings he experienced in every step of his adventure (like with the guild members and even with his monsters). Though I wanted to see more expressions from them, I loved to see the slimes animated.

Nevertheless, I love Yuuji's group so I'll continue the anime to see how it turns out.

Bonus: That moment when the supposedly "proud" wolf turned out to be like this
