| From dream through deception to reality; from reality through crime to hedonism. Everything leading to flashy death. Quite poetic ending for Hirosuke. He became one with the island of his dreams. Literally. Wonderful manga with interesting plot and breathtaking illustrations. Drumbottle said: Very theatrical, even in his way of dying I know right. I loved that kind of ending. No naivety, but rather something corresponding with Hirosuke's mindset. He faked his own suicide, but in the end his life has definitely ended with it (just while being disguised as Genzaburo). |
