Confusion about characters

I am currently watching this show and am around the middle (probably finished by the time i look at this topic again) and i might be the only one but i find the characters very hard to remember/seperate. As i said i could be the only one with this difficulty but whenever someone and especially a girl shows up in the show i find it hard to pinpoint who it exactly is or if we have seen this character before at all. Am i the only one having trouble with this or nah?

And also before someone comments that im a shounen stan and can't seperate the characters because their hair colours arent purple and green, that's not it, i can easily distinguish characters with a bit more normal looking appearance like (cant name any example tbh) but yea just don't think that please.

Have you watched the previous installments? I think that's a better avenue for you to get into.

If you want, I suggest you watch the original. The Light Novel is another option. I can inform you where to read it.
