| This felt more or less like the previous episode except we also have the addition of Strength getting some screen time. Black Rock Shooter is still the action girl kicking ass as usual. Still getting used to the animation style which has a darker format of quality. I hope story improves more. |

| How Empress recover these nano machines, feels that some company should make a new B★RS game. Sure would be like Raiden in MGS Rising, but is cool anyways. Strength frustrated with Empress, meanwhile the bikes just there having a good meeting. |

| I'm really curious as to why they chose to use the BRS label on this anime project. It pays very little homage or have relation to the original BRS works or the BRS anime. They could have easily done this project as a brand new anime original and probably would resulted in more interest. Instead, people who aren't familiar/interested in BRS aren't watching and the BRS fans that are watching are being disappointed. Episode 2 was mediocre. The CG is cool, but the non-CG parts are pretty low level. Not to mention the story is quite boring. |
| It was nice to see Black★Rock Shooter and Strength in action again, but the plot could be a little better. Monica is a pretty hilarious character. |

| Ishikawa Yui again making a character sound more dull than they already are, and in addition to this story which I've no clue where is it going making it much more difficult to watch through. Very high chances now making it into the drop list. |

| Monica definitely stole the show in this episode, and the survivor town reminded me a lot of Metro and STALKER. Thought there would be more of Strength this episode but I'm excited for next week. |

| really love the nanotechnology theme of this one so Black Rock Shooter is a Cyborg eh or BioMecha (half human and half machine) and i heard the translation for the current fansub that is available are LITERAL translation thats why even the sexual words are not changed people are hating this anime because of 3DCG again and the character designs are not cute with some moe eyes or something |

| This anime is SOOO desperate to seem mature. Random swearing, sex and killing, it's like an edgy teenager wrote this lmao. Like, a fully grown man saying "shut the hell up or I'm gonna kill you" to a kid just because he wanted to say something is so corny. And why the constant exposition? This is the kind of stuff you learn NOT to do in a creative writing class on the first day. deg said: people are hating this anime because of 3DCG again and the character designs are not cute with some moe eyes or something Literally every aspect of this anime has been really bad so far and people have been pretty explicit about why they don't like it, so I have no idea how you came to that conclusion lmao. The BRS 2012 series wasnt' good because it was hyper-edgy with hyper-exaggerated melodrama and absurd character interactions. The original OVA set the blueprint for how to handle this setting. A bit of mystery + abstract setting when in the "BRS World" accompanied by the typical slice of life / school setting. The OVA was great in my opinion, and really highlighted the character chemistry between Mato and Yomi. Who the actual fuck decided to watch that, and think "Yes lets do a post apocalyptic mecha anime" This is insulting. |

| I can't understand why this has a 5.99 score atm. I watched the 2012 anime and I absolutely hate it, one of the worst edgy trash I've ever seen. And I also saw the OVA (before that anime) and I like it just a little a bit, it wasn't good but wasn't bad either, it was mediocre. For me, this anime in only 2 episodes has been way, waaay better than those 2 other projects, this one alos has a somewhat mediocre story but it develops fast, is full of action and the characters are ok at least, they are just trying to survive, not having school drama and psicological problems, that is pathetic. Also, I love how the focus here is BRS, not the other robotic girls, surely all of them will appear but with a less important role, and that's good because in those 2 other animes they all suck. |

Also, every critique that I've seen of the Black Rock Shooter TV anime was about its story and writing. Most of the reviews praise the CG, calling it amazing and the best thing it has to offer, even the negative ones. To boil down the low score BRS; Dawnfall is getting to just people being biased against CG just really doesn't actually seem to be the case. And, imo, the bad animation is the least of this anime's problems lmao |

| How to make your original fans hate your work 101 What are they trying to do with this series seriously? I can understand that Black Rock Shooter switched from being a magical girl into a cyborg fighter, but the shift shouldn't be this hard since it was a dark series to begin with. First of all, her asymmetric twin tails are bothering me so much. At first I thought it was a side ponytail. This episode I noticed it was twin tails and she actually had twin tails in the original series too but they were stylized to look like a pony tail. Very cool, very visually appealing. Second, I am so uncomfortable with her showing so much skin. Her clothes design relied heavily on her coat. It looked so badass when it flew behind as as she rode her bike and during battles. Again, very visually appealing. Now, she looks like a fire started in her house while she was changing and she had to run in the streets half naked. Without the coat, her outfit is so plain and boring. She doesn't look right without the coat. Black Rock Shooter is cool hair, long coat, and big, blue-blazing guns. All successfully were taken away from her. And what's with the sexual innuendos all over the place? Again did they forget their original fans. This was a shoujo anime. Shifting it to a post-apocalyptic setting doesn't contradict holding onto the original atmosphere os the show. The original series was a psychological, dark battle filed. Not very much different from now. ANd what's with a bike saying the F word. Is this so cool now? Is this how they define cool? It looks like one of those bland Netflix shows. Anyway, I will go on with the show since I never drop a show, except for Boruto, and hopefully it will get better during the coming episodes. |

| Black Rock Shooter vs. Strength, and it's indicative that something is going on within those memories. For now, the whole Artemis plan must push forward, except when the village idiot engineer Monica Kaburagi comes around, and Empress herself is still wrangling around her memories to fit their bidding. At the end of the day, this episode seems very off compared to the first episode, and even as a newcomer into BRS...this ain't it chief. Really lucked out and wanting to put this on-hold. |
