But originally Anime adapted from manga and manga adapted from LN. But if manga still goes slow and don't adapt as 8bit wants, 8bit will adapt from LN because in 2023 Spring or summer The Season 3 will release(not officially confirmed) 🤫...  |
| I watched an old Japanese interview of the director of the show during S1 and he clearly mentioned they are using material from both the Light novel and the manga. |

| This question is already asked many times, and theres an asnwer for it, so ill leave it (although sorry for copypasting it). But in short think that they are using both LN and manga: The staff page on the homepage literally credits the manga "published in Kodansha's 'Monthly Shounen Sirius' " as the source material. And the copyright notice at the bottom even outright says "Kodansha" (manga publisher) but doesn't mention "Micromagazine" (LN publisher). Whoever changed the source material from manga to LN for both seasons and removed Kodansha while adding Micromagazine as producer for season 1 in the MAL database should get their eyes checked because they have clearly not even done the most basic research of checking the staff page on the official anime website. | The MAL entry for this correctly links to the lightnovel. MAL doesn't have its own lightnovel section though so it puts them into the "Manga" category. You might have gotten that confused because of that. For this series in particular it is a bit weirder though. Like most isekai this was originall a Webnovel which later got turned into a lightnovel. When turning it into a lightnovel though the author early on started adding a lot of extra chapters and after a few volumes basically completely changed the story. Years later the Manga adaptation came out. The manga adaptation is mainly based on the Lightnovel but also adds some more chapters that didn't happen in the LN and removes some that did. So now to the Anime. While the main story of course is based on the Lightnovel it does also include some of the changes done to the manga version of the story and adds even more omissions and changes on top of that. |
