Every time I think a Lupin episode can't get any more silly, another episode comes out to prove me wrong. This episode was silly, random, and seemingly unimportant to both the season and to the overall franchise. It was more of a fan-fiction type of episode, and I enjoyed their take on fan-fiction of their own franchise.

It was funny to see an outsiders take on the relationship between Fujiko and the rest of the gang, and it would have been even funnier if Zenigata was there, but alas there didn't seem to have any extra runtime to consider adding him to the plot. This was just a very laid back episode with zero stakes at all, which is quite rare for Lupin. Again though, this was another episode where the main characters weren't the main leads of their own show, but it wasn't as noticeable and as much of a detriment as the last time.

I would almost chalk this episode up as a waste of time if it wasn't for the very end where the girl reimagines Fujiko as a spy who can't trust in love due to being betrayed too much in the past, which I thought is a pretty nice addition to Fujiko's character, even if it was something we might have already known or suspected. It might not even be the true reason for how Fujiko acts, but it's still a nice concept.

Just another day of a passionate shipper and their headcanon.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

What if Lupin III was a shoujo manga instead of seinen manga but also The Bachelorette.

This episode was rather amusing and it was fun seeing the girl interpret Fujiko's relationship with Lupin, Goemon, and Jiegen. Meanwhile the legend of the mermaid continues to be a mystery.

What a funny and silly episode!

I suppose Fujiko is a tad exhibitionist... agreeing to wear that outfit in front of strangers in exchange of an intangible "mermaid fish"... 😅

Really couldn't stand this one, my least favorite Part 6 episode so far. Felt like a complete waste of time and as someone who dislikes fanfictions and especially shipping this is exactly the type of episode that would irritate me. I understand you're supposed to view this from the eyes of a naive young girl and I'm also certain that many fans will really enioy this episode but I cannot bring my self to even stand it. The only thing that saves this from being a complete disaster is that it can be preety funny at times. But all in all... no, this is not what I'm personally looking to see in this franchise.

I liked this one. Lupin with the neck brace and him getting slapped were entertaining to me... I don't know maybe my standards have gotten low after this season. :P

I jumped into Lupin with part 5. I've only seen 4,5, some 4 & 5 OVAs, and this one currently. I'm assuming this season is deliberately sillier and full of filler compared to the previous two? Were the older seasons like this? Is this is a throwback? I miss having a strong overarching plot... Like the stuff with Nix and da Vinci. I thought the Tomoe stuff was going to hook me in but it has barely gone anywhere after the strong first two episodes of the 2nd cour.

Earlier seasons definitely had their fair share of silly episodes, but this episode may very well be the silliest it has ever gotten. Check out some of the movies if you have a chance to.

Even the first serious, the most serious of them all, has its share of "silly episodes". :) The one with the most ones is probably the third.

I was facepalming through the whole episode, in a good way. Such a silly episode, it was fun to see the characters pushed into that situation at the end. 10/10

Lupin always knows how to have fun. U preferred the Goemon fashion show but this episode was nice. It would have been better if they put episodes like this between the series arcs like part 5 did sometimes.
