I read the LN is ending so a complete anime adaptation is possible?

Yes. There’s enough material for 2 more seasons. It will depend on the reception and the Anime sales but who knows…

We have a second season after the first season had a rather...below average reception. And season 2 is miles better IMO, so s3 is very much possible.

Yeah Japan matters when it come up about anime, light novel and manga cuz Japan is the only country that estimates the popularity. it doesn't matter if an anime is popular to a foreign country and not in Japan for example demon slayer if it's not popular in Japan it won't get s2.

That's kinda sad. Well, thank you for the answer!

Anime studios usually focus on the response of Japanese audiences rather then international audience.Blu-Ray, light novel and manga sales also impact (mostly)if a series gets a sequel

actually it's 3 and a half seasons more if we're going with the current pacing of S2 right now

S2 = vol 5 and 6
S3 = vol 7 and 8
S4 = vol 9 and 10
S5 = vol 11 and 12
S6? = vol 13 ending

Japan Publishers have a reputation to end an adaptation regardless of how well recieved it is after their is more no new material to promote. at the end of the day most anime are still regarded as advertisements for their series.

The industry has been changing somewhat as more series are getting more seasons even for some that have now ended. Arifuerita was def a surprise hit as regardless what you tought of s1 it had massive popularity especially in the asian market including mainland china. Streaming has a big influence these days even if bd/dvd sales are very low(for this it was drastically low)

It probably has to factor why they made several improvements to s2 compared to s1 as you can tell the treatment in s2 is dif to how s1 was made, it is slower paced adapting just 2 volumes instead o 4, animation and cgi usage has been somewhat toned, fight choreography is better managed and soundtrack has improved as well.

So it really depends on how s2 will go. Overall i still find this series not as great as other isekai but the way s2 got adapted i personally have liked it better than s1 so i can def say its an improvement.

I think there will be a 3 season since there is a lot of material to adapt, I don't know if it's from the LN OR WL OR MANGA?
