not going to lie, this episode felt like amogus. We have young master Xiang Yu/Ji pretending to be interested in Tu Li so he can reap the rewards of her knowledge and bring her back for his own gain and we have Jing Xuan who is a tsundere that hides his feelings for Tu Li while pretending to be the late grandpa Heng. Which one is the REAL impostor?

Apart from that, Elder Feng said many things this episode that pinpoint the mastermind of the tragic events 10 years prior. First, she happens to conveniently have a map to the Cheng family's resource storage (from what I read off subtitles) so Jing Xuan can steal the supplies to remake the formation and she always utters stuff like, if she doesn't complete her objective using him she'll find another person to do it for her - which could infer to her involvement with manipulating Jing Xuan's father to gather the supplies & create the formation and then saving the son (Jing Xuan) to continue where his father left off.

It's all speculation so far but it does seem like some weird moment that existed just to foreshadow the upcoming events. The ending of the episode was the icing on the cake, Tu Li discovers that young master Xiang Yu/Ji did indeed know her and her father while also admitting that the bracelet was his earlier in the episode. (although conveniently not loud enough for Tu Li to hear) By the cliffhanger it looks like she's become suspicious of him but it won't be that easy on us given the previous empathy she showed to young master Xiang Yu/Ji.

not the cleanest episode but still heavy on character development and establishment of events in the storyline.

Edit from the future: Some details are assumptions and aren't consistent with the actual story.
